Nintendo will release the NX console globally in March 2017, Zelda “Wii U” delayed and releases simultaneously with NX version.
Early this morning, Nintendo released a financial report for shareholders and investors outlining upcoming business plans for the company through 2017. The report includes financial earning reports and a short letter from Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima, mentioning the company’s foray into theme parks, mobile games and “Toys-To-Life” Amiibo figurines. The report also casually mentions that the NX will be releasing globally in March of 2017.
That’s the best way to make an announcement when you’re Nintendo: at 3AM EST, in a financial report.
The report also included an updated release chart for Nintendo’s upcoming software titles. Included within was every Nintendo fans’ biggest fear; that the new Legend of Zelda title would indeed once again be delayed. The release date is now listed as 2017 in the report.
